This document will be updated as coaches vote on key issues, so stay tuned for more info!
Tournament Structure
- First Draft
- This is the draft you'll use for the duration of the Divisional Stage.
- No free agency swaps will be made, but unlimited trades are ok.
- If a coach delays their pick for over 24 hours, they will be skipped over. Any missed picks can be made up after the draft has concluded.
- The Divisional (group) Stage
- You'll play everyone in your division once. Differential may come into play in the event of tying records, so make sure to give it your all :]
- Two weeks to get each game sorted away, as usual.
- A new draft
- Prior to the draft, coaches may franchise one Pokemon to continue on to their second draft
- In the event a coach elects not to franchise, they will simply have an additional pick (out of order) at the end of the first round to balance their choice not to franchise.
- Draft order will be determined by your success in the Divisional Stage so better performances will be rewarded in the draft you will use for the bracket.
- No roster changes will be permitted, so choose wisely!
- If a coach delays their pick for over 24 hours, they will be skipped over. Any missed picks can be made up after the draft has concluded.
- Single Elimination bracket.
- Win or go home. It's that simple.
Format
- The tournament will be conducted using only Pokemon in the GBA's Tier 4 (T4) and Tier 5 (T5).
- Each team will be composed of five T4 Pokemon and six T5 Pokemon.
- Each team will have a budget of 100 points to spend on Z-Captain users for a maximum of 3 possible Z-Captains.
- T4 Pokemon will cost 40 points
- T5 Pokemon will cost 30 points
- Unlike the previous season, baton passing stat boosts will no longer be permitted. You may still use Baton Pass in combination with Substitute or just plain on its own.
